ANY MORE QUESTIONS?

As the school reading programs are now in full swing, I'd like to remind students to feel free to ask any questions that haven't been covered on this page.
Do you want to know more about the medieval period?
Do you want to know more about the novel?
Do you like to write stories and are you interested in learning more about the writing life and getting published?
Fire Away! I'm ready!

Are you gonna write another novel any time soon???

I am currently at work on another historical novel, this time set in ancient Babylon. Babylon fascinates me and its very name conjures up the mysterious romance of the Hanging Gardens and Tower of Babel. I hope to complete the novel by the end of 2008.

i loved your book the first vial
it was really great
im doing an english project on it, and i was just wondering what, in your opinion, were the themes in the book?

***I didn't like your book "the first vial" at all. Im just wondering why you would write a book that seemed to be at a level of reading for teenagers but didn`t seem to be appealing to anyone of that age who has read it...

Anonymous,
I'm sorry you didn't like the book. Quite frankly I had no age group in mind when I wrote the story, I simply enjoyed the medieval period and wanted to write about it. My publisher decided to market the novel as YA.

Hey Linnea,

how is your new book coming along? I really enjoyed The First Vial :)
I was wondering if you could help me with some symbols in The First Vial; I have used fire, and death on the pale horse but I'm having trouble finding another one... I was thinking maybe Pygine or the Church but dont really know how to explain them as symbols. Any help is appreciated :)

Hi flipflop,
Glad you liked The First Vial.
Unfortunately my new book isn't coming along as quickly as I'd hoped. Our house burned down and my manuscript and all of my research material were destroyed so I have to start over. I'm hoping to complete the new novel next year.

O-o-ps, forgot your question. I think the church would be a good symbol of oppression as Father Simon was a pretty good example of what was happening inside the church at that time.

I'm sorry about your house :(

Of course, oppression would work perfectly! thanks :)
